Thursday Exercise Classes: Movement for Strength and Independence

At High Brake House, we believe that staying active is one of the most important factors in maintaining strength, flexibility, and independence as we age. That’s why we’re delighted to offer gentle exercise classes every Thursday, designed specifically for older adults at any fitness level.

Why Movement Matters

Regular movement helps maintain mobility, reduces the risk of falls, improves balance, and supports overall wellbeing. Our classes focus on stretching and mobility-friendly exercises that work with your body, not against it. Whether you’re new to exercise or have been active for years, our sessions are adaptable to your individual needs and capabilities.

What to Expect

Our exercise classes are upbeat yet gentle, creating an encouraging atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable participating at their own pace. The focus is on movements that support daily life – reaching, bending, balancing – helping you maintain the independence that matters so much.

Join Us

These classes aren’t just for our residents. We welcome anyone from the local community who would like to join us for a session. It’s a wonderful opportunity to stay active, meet new people, and experience the warm, welcoming atmosphere at High Brake House.
